A Book About

The letter O is one of the most simple letters in the alphabet, yet it is remarkable how different one O can be from another depending on which typeface is used. This is a conceptual book about the letter O. Each spread features an O or part of an O to highlight specific features and traits. I wanted the book it to be small and intimate while letting the letter vary in scale. I made three B2-sized landscape posters in a similar format to the book. The back pages of the book offer a glossary of each typeface used, its weight, and point size. The posters’ text contains this information as well as a brief history on the font: when it was designed and by whom.
