Holocaust Box

This project tells the story of three Holocaust victims through traditional letterpress printing. Using the names of the victims and the numbers that were tattooed onto each of them, I explored their identities and the relationship between the names and numbers by using different levels of ink and pressure for each print. The three stories are contained in a velvet-lined black box.
